We are looking for a strategic and inquisitive Senior Data Scientist. As part of this broad objective, the Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for setting work requirements, assigning tasks to subordinate personnel, and monitoring team performance. You will also be expected to leverage your Data Science expertise to consult on many areas of this and other initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, propose, and manage data-driven programs that advance organizational goals.

• Collect and clean data from various sources for use by Junior Data Scientists.

• Select and apply advanced statistical techniques to produce actionable insights.

• Cross-validate models to ensure generalizability.

• Produce and disseminate non-technical reports highlighting the successes and limitations of each project.

• Suggesting how the knowledge gathered might inform business strategies

• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of advances in data science and related topics to ensure that results are always relevant..

Qualifications and skills

• Master's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or related field required.

• Extensive experience as a data scientist

• Proficiency in R or Python, with the former preferred; SQL skills are required.

• Understanding of machine learning principles and methods.

• Experience creating and managing data-driven projects.

• Ability to create a positive, dynamic work atmosphere, often based on collaboration.
